how did you get all these discounts? i wanna order now a 1405, the only discount i know of is the 30% off regular coupon, what other discounts can i have other then this one?

That's a good question I'll look into it. You didn't answer my question though.

EDIT: I just customized the Latitude D820 vs the E1505 and the Latitude is going to be a complete waste of money compared to the 1505. It'll cost anywhere from 700-900 dollars more for the same components with a weaker video card. This is because it carries none of the discounts and is a bit overpriced in comparison to the E1505. I don't really see your argument here.

That looks like a pretty good price to me. I paid about the same for a lesser E1505 and was quite happy with my 40% discount.

I would get the X1400. I don't think it's going to add much to the final price.

Oh, and you do know that the "Audigy" option just gives you software drivers right? You will NOT get an integrated Creative sound card. It'll be a Sigma Tel, with or without the Audigy option.

What is the difference between the x1300 and x1400 is it worth the upgrade.

So about the Audigy, your saying its not worth getting it. Should I just take the first choice?

Also should I upgrade the 1GB 2 DIMM to 1GB 1 DIMM for 49 bucks and then add on a 1GB 1 DIMM?
(Both will be at 533)

The x1300 has 64mb of video ram and the x1400 has 128mb before accessing your system ram.

No I would just leave it with the built in sound card and look into getting a Sound Blaster external USB for the ultra performance.

I had no problem getting a nearly loaded D820 for less than $1200 on the EPP site. I don't see your argument here.

When I customized the Latitude I didn't get the same discounts from EPP that I got for the E1505.

Be careful with the rebate. Make sure the $50 coupon you have will work with it. Those things can be tricky.
