Really worth post. I'm looking for a new laptop to purchase.I have 2 laptops in my mind..I'm looking for hard use laptops with reliability.

1.Compaq Presario CQ161115 Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2.00 GHz
2. ACER AS4937 Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0GHZ

which one you suggests as best for long usage?

The mentioned Acer has better specs, and with a backlit LCD. Go for it if the warranty is good where you are.
