ZE4900 inverter and backlight

My display on my HP Pavillion ZE4941 US has gone dim. I understand it is likely the inverter or the backlight (CCFL). Can anyone tell me how to test to see which one it is? I have found the inverters on Ebay but I have yet to locate a backlight. Does anyone know where one can be found? Lastly, can anyone direct me to good instructions on how to change them out? I appreciate the help.
