Inspiron 600m. USB Device not recognized.
Hi,
I have inspiron 600m. Currently iam facing a problem with USB device not recognized message appears some times.I verified with the 2 USB ports and both of them are working fine and i could not able to trace the problem where it is exactly. I need to some assistance if anybody is facing or rectified this error. based on the reviews i found that this is the problem wiht Blue tooth and 600m comes along with the Motherboard. This message will disappear once you hold the left corner of your laptop. Can any body help me to resolve this issue permanently. Thanks ![]() Last edited by spusapati2006; 08-21-2006 at 11:11 AM. |

Same thing happened to me about 9 months ago; didn't think too much of it until I did more research. Your hunch is correct; it is the Bluetooth module; it needs to be either taken out or replaced. The connection between the mother board and the bluetooth adapter is loose; and windows is thinking that it's a USB device which is is not.
