Review of M1710 with Core 2 Duo @ CNet
http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_XPS_M17...2.html?tag=nav
[Thanks to ikilledkenny2] Highlights: 4 hour 16 mins battery life Note that the BAPCo MobileMark 2005 performance benchmark seems to have the results mislabeled. I read it as (using the ordering of the battery life test above it): M1710 Merom: 254 M1710 Yonah: 214 Toshiba: 160 Thus, performance gain of almost 20% going from a 2.16GHz yonah to a 2.33GHz Merom. But if that battery life is true, I say WOW. (But can it really be true???) Here's another review from Legitreviews: http://www.legitreviews.com/article/381/1/ Last edited by m94mni; 08-28-2006 at 04:05 PM. |

I dont see how it could have gained a hundred minutes of battery life. That doesn't sound right.

It isn't right... The performance & battery numbers for the C2D were switched - so the real values are 160 minutes battery and 257 performance. The article will be updated shortly...
