Please help

I have a microstar medion notebook model number mid2020 and to start windows I have to enter a password in dos is there anyway I can cancel this password and just put the password in windows users the only place the laptop is used is at home so there is no need for this extra security if anyone could help I would be so grateful thank you

maybe this'll help

The only way I know to disable the password is for the XP logon screen. You go to the Display Properties; Screensaver; "unclick" the box for "On resume, password protect."

If there isn't a connection between your problem and that setting, I have no idea.

Thanks for tryng but it's not the logon password I need help with it's actually before the windows opening page comes up and while its still in dos can't get into the bios either to try and sort it from there. when the laptop boots up it comes up with press f2 for set up but nothing happens
