fiish is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
The official BIOS 208 seems to fix the graininess problem (at last!). Funnily though, I wasn't able to flash it using the BIOS flasher invoked by pressing F4 at POST, getting an 'unable to recover BIOS ROM' error each time, but Winflash was able to perform it.

You should be able to see it on this page:

http://support.asus.com/download/dow...map&mapindex=0

This is the list I obtained by locating the F3Jp's support page. The BIOS is the latest update.

If you manage to update using the Easy Flash Utility (F4 at POST, or link from the BIOS), do reply. I'm quite interested to know if I'm the only one whose built-in BIOS flasher is unable to perform an update that Winflash can.

For F3Ja, there is the 208.T00 provided by Ken a few post above.
I've put it on my F3Ja AK038H a few weeks ago, and all's fine

Ciao,

yes yes... I'm using this BIOS right now... I only asked because I read that the official BIOS was out and I couldn't find it...

Ciao,

sorry guys, i've some audio problem on my F3Ja (the usual problem of speaker not working after unplugging headphones...), and i've to send the notebook to asus for repair. I guess they will replace as usual the motherboard, so I will need to reapply the grainless bios 2.08 beta... where can I download it? It looks like it's no more present in the above link... tnx in advance!
