Notebook Wireless

Hey everybody!
Atm i have a Lg S1 notebook and i have a little problem..
In my house i have severall computer users. Because of that im using a wireless connection and the router im using is an apple airport because there are some mac users here.
In my room the router signal apears "Very Low" but is just like 15meters away from the router but i think it is because of the kitchen/walls.
My question is: If i put an external wireless card in my laptop ( a good one ) you guys think i would win more signal?

Ahh, your problem is obviously asbestos insulation and lead based paint The solution, of course, is to use a bigger hammer (a "MIMO" wifi card).
