IBM ThinkPad Access Connections Software
I posted this over at another forum but I figured I might run into more ThinkPad owners here.
Does anyone have problems with the Access Connections software that comes with every (recent) IBM ThinkPad? Don't get me wrong, it's a nifty piece of software. But it seems to conflict with Windows XP's built-in network management. Especially the wireless aspect. My computer doesn't crash, but I'll get finicky behavior from time to time in getting connected and staying connected to a wireless network. It almost seems like Windows XP and IBM Access Connections are working against each other for the same goal. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? |

Everytime I try and use it - I lose my wifi connection. Finally just got rid of it and just use the built in XP stuff.

That's the answer I was afraid of. It's too bad because Access Connections is a nifty little program.
