No, the 9100 uses ddr memory while the 6000 uses ddr2. While they are the same speed, their not interchangeable. Please dont try it, as it wont work and might fry something.

I know a friend who did that, and broke the ram stick because it wouldnt fit and he tried to make it fit.

i just saw both as 400MHz..one was PC4200 and the 9100 is 3200...i think.

pc4200 is not 400mhz, so it must have been reading it wrong. it's 533
