A8JS and A8JM concerns

I was just wondering if anybody else had any issues with their LCD lid coming apart near the hinges. I've always thought of Asus as having high quality laptops so this is kind of shocking. I've only had it for about 5 months. Never dropped it or anything, just simply closed and opened the lid everyday. I'm afraid to close it now in fear of making the problem worse. I'm wondering, for those who sell Asus laptops, would this be covered under the warranty?
Here are some pictures:

What it looks like on the other side:

I remember seeing a post on Notebook Review from someone who had that issue and opened the bezel and tightened the screws himself, but I would think it would be covered under warranty

Thanks Djembe, if it is as simple as you stated, I would rather do it myself than to spend money on shipping it back and then wait. I'm not sure if that will void my warranty or not.

Follow up, I did re-screw it, but the problem persisted and now both sides have gaps in it. Is anyone else having this problem? Tightening the screws have no effect on it anymore.

For anyone else still having this issue: my hinges started coming loose in September (9 months after laptop purchase) and that quickly progressed to open seams around the hinges and visible cracks behind the hinges on the silver part of the lid. These problems are covered under warrenty. The computer was sent to Asus in Ontario and they replaced the hinges, top case, bottom case, lcd cover and bezel.
