since i got my baby back in may, ive been trying to look for a way to get the audio buttons to work for winamp and not only for WMP. Never could figure it out and no1 seemed to be able to do it.
a couple of days ago i was watching a movie on WMP and i wanted to pause it with the play/pause button. i pressed it and nothing happened to the movie. but i started hearing some background music not from the movie. i look at winamp and.....
it WORKS!!!. i dont really know wtf i did to make it work but it seems to be the fact that i disabled the launch manager from starting at the beggining cause it makes the error sounds (QTZacer on msconfig) and that winamp is my main player in windows.
when i turn the launch manager after startup, it stops working for winamp but i need it for the 4 buttons at the top right corner.

now my question to you all is :
a/ wtf is up with that? any explanation to this weird fact
b/ if we can figure it out, could it be possible to program the launch manager to not work on the media buttons so they stick to winamp even after opening launch manager?

maybe a bit confusing sorry. but id really like to finaly solve this tidbit of a problem

There maybe a certain configuration to set your default media player? Under program defaults or whatever it is called

yeah but even when winamp is the default media player and the launch manager is activated, the commands only work for WMP. it only works on winamp when the launch manager isnt started.
