Exclamation Dell Inspiron 9200 Charger/Charging Problem

Hi...I received a Dell Inspiron 9200 as a payment from some who bought a car from me...The charger has a little beep and the green light on it does not light up...I also plugged the charger into the notebook and no lights come on the notebook indicating its charging...I cannot turn on the notebook bc I guess its battery is dead...Do you think there is something wrong with the notebooks charger...Please someone help me out with this..Thank you..

It could be the AC cord/power brick, or there could be a bad connection between the cord and the motherboard.

I guess u can call up dell and have them diagnose it, or buy a new ac adapter and hope that's it. If not, you'd have to get that part of the mobo fixed/replaced by either dell or a shop.

Its prolly the power adapter...Bc the green light on the adapter doesnt light up and I was on dell's site and saw a pic of it the tech support section and mine doesnt light up...There was a tear in the cord a little bit..So im goin to buy a adapter hopefully soon for it and maybe that will work...Gon cost me about 100 bucks for it so its kool...Ill post when the problem is fixed..Maybe u guys can help me hook it up..Thanx

A hundred bucks? You can buy them on eBay for much much less. Like $50 tops.
