Okay so recently my Battlefield 2 has suddenly started running extremely choppy, every setting is set to the absolute minimum, so I tried everything I could find on the internet, none of them worked. The reason i'm here though, is to ask about display drivers specifically pertaining to this graphics card/laptop.

I've tried downloading the regular Catalysts, the mobility, and the IGP. I've tried the mod tool that installs the desktop catalyst for a laptop, all of these give me the same error: Incompatible with my hardware. So I figure the best place to ask was from the people who have these notebooks, how would I update my drivers? The ones on Acer's website is apparently an earlier version of what I have now (8.273), and why does it say my hardware is incompatible?

try the Omega catalyst drivers. they work fine on my aspire 5100's x1100.

its wierd how the graphics got suddenly choppy. have you installed anything recently that would be using up alot of resources in the background? also, scan for spyware and other bad stuff. it mignt not be the drivers at all thats causing the problem.
