I have a HP Pavilion dv2000t laptop but i forgot the password to the bios. I havent used the laptop for months since i was out of the country for a while. I'm wandering if there's anyway i can reset or unlock the bios so i can start using my computer again?
I tried unpluging the battery and left it there for two days, but still no dice. Is there anybody living in the OC area in CA that reset the bios cause im not that computer savvy. ??? i might have to give this site a go: http://www.pwcrack.com/index.shtml Last edited by Djembe; 02-07-2007 at 08:21 PM. |

You'll have to open it up, pull the cmos battery out and then put it back. bios pw and any other changes you made to bios will default to oem settings.
