Question about Vista Aero on D420...

So my girlfriend has been pushing me to put Vista on my gaming rig because it "looks pretty" but i dont really want to since it is my gaming rig, and dont really want to deal with the Nvidia problem and all the games not quite running well.

Anyways she has a new Latitude D420, and im wondering if the integrated video card in that machine would be enough to run Aero, because if it isnt then its not really worth upgrading, since the other features dont really impress me.

And if it dosnt what does the windows theme look like in non Aero? Is it just the default win 2k taskbar etc.?

thanks inadvance guys!

Aero isn't the resource hogging uber program people are making it out to be. The GMA 945 will run it just fine.

Aero will run fine on the GMA945.
Alternatively if you want the vista looknfeel without installing the thing, you can try the vista transformation pack

See screenshot...It's very vista like
