Question Im really considering getting a macbook, any suggestions?

I bought an HP some time ago, but i cant stand vista and how much this comp drags its ass not to mention how cheaply built this thing is and how many hardware malfunctions it gets and how often.

so what i need from this macbook would be to support all the hardware and software that XP does, to be realiably built, and to be fast.

i do alot of recording, video and music and from what i understand the built in isight camera is good for video. i use a mobilepre usb to record XLR and 1/4" inputs, and the drivers and software for it apply to Mac Os 10.4.8 PPC/Intel so i think i would be covered

am i missing something, because macbooks seem like the perfect solution to all my silly problems, thoughts? questions? comments?

Yeah a Macbook would be perfect for you! Once you go to OSX, its really hard to go back. I liked OSX so much I installed Rock Docket on both of my PCs lol. Whats your budget? Because you could get an 80 GB 7200 HD, C2D 2.0 ghz, and 2 GB of ram for a pretty good price. Do you want/like the black or the white?

You will love osx it may take a week or two to find all the audio apps you will need but once you do everything will fall into place I hear that the audio apps for osx are very superior compared to the ones for most PC based OS's

Thats what I heard. And if your a n00b (I know your not because it seems you know alot about audio stuff), you have Garageband. Oh Garageband, when I first upgraded and got you, I waisted time I could've been doing homework playing with you

well the good thing about the macbook over the pro, is that the hard drive is REALLY easy to change.. so you can easily upgrade that as your needs and budget grow@!
