Voodoo Envy m:780

I am thinking of buying a Voodoo Envy m:780, before I do, I was wondering if anyone knows who manufactures the m:780 and if it is available from any other vendors?

Thanks in advance

Chirality is cool enough to have people show up to his/her party!
It is based on the Clevo D870, otherwise known as the Sager 8790.

Does Voodoo customize the machine in anyway other than cosmetics to justify the extra cost? Or am I paying for brand and support?

I think Voodoo is WAY over-priced. You can get the exact same machine from PCTorque, Hypersonic, or several other vendors for around $800 - $1000 less than Voodoo. Of course, you won't get a ghastly tatoo on your notebook, nor will you be enthralled with the kind of overblown, new age, marketing rhetoric that Voodoo uses to describe the uplifting experience of buying their computers.

I think voodoo adds in some custom cooling and maybe some ergonomic(keyboard and such). I like that model too but beware it's battery life, also you'll save a lot of money and power if you don't go with the EE. Post some benchmarks if you end up getting it though.
