Duke's Smooth Creations Job #2

Smooth Creations:

In case no one remembers, I had my Alienware 5750 painted by Jim and the guys at Smooth last October. I was so freakin’ pleased with it, I needed to get another job done, so I decided to paint the Sager 5460 .

Like my first Smooth Job, I created a poll in the Sager section of NBF to see if anyone could guess what direction I was heading with the new design. Congratulations to: Choco_latte, dcikra, Narg, pyro_dragun, SolApathy, starfury., The Anaconda, Voynich62277. Conda, I don’t know how you did it, but you were the first to guess Final Fantasy. I thought for sure most people would guess “zombies”, and I was for the most part correct.

Jim, owner and founder of Smooth Creations was very pleased to hear I was eager to get more work done and we began talking about ideas back in mid February. When I finally figured out what I wanted, I sent my laptop in on March 12. Jim had explained to me he was in the middle of some major business talks and made sure he knew there was no rush to get my laptop done. I was in the middle of finals and graduating from college and the last thing I needed on my mind was what time my laptop will be finished. Jim’s polite communication and professionalism continues to impress me over the weeks.

And… it is my pleasure to bring to you guys my second Smooth Creations job.

The laptop was painted black, to match the background color of the design. The paint brings an amazing glossy feel and look to what was once a gray bland color. One of the best aspects of this paint job is the way the case paint blends with the gloss of the LCD screen. Once again my amateur photography skills do not capture the beauty of this laptop.

Jim and everyone at Smooth again have strengthened my confidence and desire to get every laptop I ever own from now until I die painted. I’m already trying to figure out what will be my next purchase. Smooth Creations have since resigned their entire site, and now offer their own line of laptops to customize and buy. It is pretty obvious Smooth Creations have won me over.

-The end dot com slash smooth creations 4 life dot net slash im awesome dot org

and please feel free to PM or IM me with any questions or comments. You can find me on NBF, sR and NBR but NOT [H]F.

-Duke
