Sager N2090 & nVidia 8600m drivers

Got a N2090 today, dumped Vista and installed XP Pro. Had a tough time (2 hours) finding a driver that would run the 8600M GPU. Finally found this topic (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...howtopic=13253) at laptopvideo2go. Includes driver, modified INF, and excellent instructions that worked perfectly.

Apparently this driver and INF will work on several other mobile GPU's.

Maybe this info will help someone in a similar bind.

Peace.

It would be great if an admin could make a stick about http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/

It is the answer to a recurring question about NVidia drivers.

why did you dump vista ... was the 2090 not compatible with vista? or was it just vista sh*T that you got tired of?
