Arrow Looking for laptop for less than $1200 canadian

Hi guys,

I am a student and it's back to school.. ()

So I was browsing best buy, futureshop and I found that these people are screwing with me. I don't why and I have no idea what laptop specs are!!

My budget is $1200 and I want a laptop that will be good to me when I do work with office xp, photoshop and just regular browsing. ( I am a webmaster )

I would love if it has 2gb ram, 120gb, WinXP preferred but I see Vista everywhere so that's ok too. Intel Core2duo or AMD ? I think IC2duo is for me. Also DVD player and cd rw is nice to have.. 15inch screen since I would need that space!

Please let me know. Thank you!

thats not too tall an order so long as you dont need a high end graphics card... start checking out dell, and use an epp if you can to get the price of a nice machine down into the sweet spot.
