Quirky file transfers with 7-in-1 & wlan error message

I am having two problems with 8790 laptop:
1. Error message on start up:
G-EzLink Utility
“The supplicant support has not been installed correctly. You need to run setup again to fix this problem. If instead you continue, 802.1x and WPA will be disabled.”
I received no disk to install/reinstall the G-EzLink Wireless card—the utility was installed at the factory. The error message showed up after I installed Hot-Key and AutoMail from the Drivers and Utilities CD. The WLAN is working. How do I run setup or make this error message go away? Where can I get the software for G-EzLink wireless--shouldn’t it have been shipped with the laptop?
2. When copying files from the 7-in-1 Card reader and the USB floppy to the hard drive, the computer often hangs (program not responding), runs extremely slow, or acts just plain quirky.
I will have to return this 8790 model if these problems are not resolved in the next 2 days. Thank you for any assistance you can give.
