Etatheta is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
128mb Quadro nvs 135 vs 265mb quadro nvs 110

My work provides me with a laptop my current laptop is a dell latitdue d620

with the specs
Core 2 duo t7300
2 gigs of ram
100 gig HD
256mb Quadro NVS 110m

We recently got a new shipment of d630s in with the specs of

Core 2 duo t7500
2 gigs of ram
120 gig hd
128mb Quadro NVS 135m

I have the option of switching but i am debating if the upgraded processor and stronger video card chip would out preform my current laptop with the 256mb vid card. Bot laptops have the same 14.1 inch screen and both run vista business.

any ideas?

Thanks
Dan

Yes they are both weak but they are work provided laptops and there are alot worse card out there. normally i wouldn't have asked but i haven't had time to benchmark either system yet. You would be suprised what teh cards can do i haven't had a problem with any game ive tried playing so far but i've been so busy i haven't had time to play alot.

more ram not alway better, specially at your resolution, I would take CPU upgrade with less VRAM,
