Smile a200-th1 Vista downgraded to Xp

I bought a week ago a Toshiba a200-th1. Decided to downgrade to Windows xp pro. I downloaded all the drivers on the Toshiba Web site. I had no problem installing them.

Still when I go visit my device manager, and it still reports two unresolved devices

1. pci memory controller
2. unkown device

Now I know a200-th1 comes with bluetooth technology. I'm assuming it's the reason for the two unresolve devices. Anyone know where I may find them. Toshiba hasn't made them available

Thanks

I downgraded my A200-TH1 and the Bluetooth drivers are definitely available at Toshiba.ca.

I didn't get the Realtek sound driver to install properly though. So I have no audio at all. Any hints?

I have an A205 right now and I'm trying to downgrade to Windows XP from Windows Vista. Whenever I pop in the Windows XP CD, it doesn't detect the hard drive, I'm guessing becuase of the SATA drive? How did you downgrade?

Thanks.

Yep, had the same problem. You need to use nLite and slipstream the drivers into your XP installation CD.

Don't worry though! There's a step-by-step manual on how to do this written by a fellow "downgrader". Works like a charm!

Not sure if the A205 will has the realtek audio drivers but if so MAKE SURE YOU ALSO SLIPSTREAM THOSE IN!!! It'll save you A LOT of heartache.
