Aviator SR5 Review
Well what can i say i ordered this portable rig/powerhouse on Aug 28th 07 it arrived on Oct 16th o7, due to me missing 20$ of the tab! and a delay on the 1680x1280 res types so i chose to go with 1280x800 and got a 50$ back!
Lappy rev.: Screen: pretty good i thought it was gonna come out small but turned out pretty good wide and big. no dead pixels btw! Performance: GFX is pretty awesome it plays BF2 maxed out w/8xAA!!!. Quake Wars maxed out as well i just played World in Conflict with all high and wow i took pics but something is wrong with upload anyways CSS maxed COD4 DEMO which is to die for lovely best of all series i am a cod freak lol it played all at good settings not high but not low either i played all at normal with 4xAA!!! rag doll enabled , blood effect on trust me the gfx on my lappy for COD is awesome, as for crysis i can run it but not at recommended settings although at minimum i ran http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtestcto check but i geuss it can run good at my desky's 88GTS 640mb. anyways if u r looking for a lappy for uni and gaming off campus site this is the lappy for u battery hrs may not be ur treat but the laptop delivers good performance!! must buy for 1400$ ONLY i had to pay 1600$ for extra upgrade HDD procs. etc. in case u r wondering the pics have been taken in my doorm room thats right i am in uni and enjoying this powerhouse!!! Hey dude,
Thanks for the PM. I'm glad it finally came. Some framerates would've been nice for an indicator of performance. When you say buy a cooler does that mean it gets pretty hot? |

no not really but just in case i gamed on it not for very long i have uni to attend but it can really take a punch for me it never overheated and there are absolutely no faults coming out of it i view my temps from Nvidia Temp monitor it stays at 58 to 60 celsius when i game for a half our it would go to 66 with the cooler its not bad at all i would suggest u get it rather than those big 20inch ones they are a bit expensive and overkill if u get a lappy with a 7950 then whats the point of ur desktop lol this is by far the best lappy i gamed on!
