OK, this is gonna sound stupid, but I have a nearly 4-year old 4780. The screen is half falling off but it still runs. Not well, and some days not even decently, but it does run.

I'm away from home and trying to connect wirelessly. I am very certain that when I purchased the lappy it had an internal wireless card. Now, however, I can't see any kind of wireless network adapter in Device Manger. I seem to recall at one point turning it off (somehow).

Anyone have any suggestions?
