Battery dying or dead

GF owns a Chiligreen D400k. Its almost 3 years old and the battery is almost dead.
The battery will not charge to more than 50-60% and when I unplug the notebook from the power cord it will last only 5 min and then the battery is dead.

RMCLOCK says that the capacity of the BATTERY is almost the same as when it was new.

I heard of some programs for recalibrating the battery which would hopefully help.

Any help would be hot.
