NBF MobileForce VS 169.04 M6 DIRECT DOWNLOAD (NOT AVAILABLE) MIRROR 1 Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista 32-Bit Driver Version: 7.15.11.6904 NBF MobileForce Custom INF Tweaks Version: 6.03.52 Driver Date: 10/28/2007 Driver Size: 33,714,317 bytes (32.1MB) MD5 Hash: 0118F735D7D316134B57F35C5376C107 Please make sure you compare the MD5 Hash and Driver Size of the file you've downloaded to make sure you are getting a Genuine NBF MobileForce Driver, and not one that has been tampered with! ---Release Notes--- Continuing upon the, for the most part, amazing abilities of NVIDIA's new ForceWare 169-Series drivers, the new 169.04 is definitely a worthy successor. This new driver improves upon the impressive performance of 169.01 in (as far as can be seen) every way, so if you're running 169.01, it's a good bet you'd do better with 169.04. Give them a try and report back!! ---Other Information--- If you are updating your driver, please follow the directions in THIS THREAD. If you don't use follow these directions, and whine about problems with the driver not working properly, we're going to ask you to use follow these directions anyways, so please, update your driver properly . . . We will thank you later. Please post RESPONSIBLY!!! We will answer your question as soon as possible. All issues and/or concerns regarding this particular MobileForce driver are to be confined to this thread. Any other topics created regarding issues with this or any other driver will be REMOVED. I'm downloading these. Hopefully it fixes my Antialiasing problems...
---------------------------------- UPDATE: So far so good, except for antialiasing -- which I am chalking up to Vista sucking. In XP (with my MUCH inferior Gen 2), I could turn on 4X MULTISAMPLING TRANSPARENCY Antialiasing in Guild Wars with about a 30% performance hit, but I still got between 40-70 fps on average. In Vista (with a MUCH more powerful system), I am usually getting between 60-120fps with NO Antialiasing, but the second I turn on 2x STANDARD (non-transparency) AA, I average between 25-50 fps (~50% worse). Then, going to 4x STANDARD (non-transparency) AA I am usually getting between 16-28 fps (yet another ~50% hit). It's like this in ALL my games, and has been this way with EVERY driver I have tried -- a 50% or so decrease in framerate for each level of AA applied. Is this a Vista problem, or what??? it sucks, because I HATE jaggies... I HATE VISTA!!! :::Pant pant pant::: Besides that problem, these are averaging about 5-10 fps more in Guild Wars than my previous drivers (MF 163.75). This isn't timedemo or anything, but just running around with my mouse over the built-in FPS counter shows about that improvement. I'll take it. Image quality looks better to me with slightly brighter/more saturated colors than 163.75's, though with noticeably sharper textures. I didn't say BETTER textures, just sharper. There seems to be more depth to the color as well. I'm pretty sure this is how GW was SUPPOSED to look, and USED to with the XP drivers, but I just got used to the blandness of 163.75's so everything looks so good to me, LOL! I'll try Team Fortress 2, Portal, CoD4 Demo, CoH, RS: Vegas, etcetera later. I'm pretty beat right now. ------------------------------------- Update 2: The bright/vibrant colors are also in 2D! I love it! Were 163.75's THAT bad, or are these drivers just that good? ------------------------------------- Update 3: OK, I went into EVERY game I had, and at first thought these drivers sucked, since there was hitching everywhere and slowdowns. Turns out my CPU was stuck at 999 MHz for some damn reason... I restarted and all was well, for the most part. I was getting artifacting on the CoD4 demo, so I backed off my overclock on my GPU, and it was good from there on out. Despite the lower GPU clock (I went down from 600/1400 to 587/1300), EVERY game was smooth as silk. CoH benchmarked at 44.4 ave/61.4 max/19.9 min, which is my best yet. WiC benched at 25 ave/46 max/12 min, which is just about the same as it was before if not slightly faster (I think I got 24/42/12 before). RS:Vegas was smoother than it has EVER been for me -- perfectly hitch and slow-down free. Amazing. TF2 ran noticeably better with less slowdowns on new texture loads. GRAW2 ran with less mouse lag (meaning faster) than before. In all, EVERYTHING ran just as well or FASTER than 163.75 and with less hitching. But IMHO, if these drivers ran the SAME speed as 163.75's, I'd b happy because the IMAGE QUALITY was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! In comparison to 163.75, everything was richer, deeper, more colorful, with the textures jumping off the page. Sharpness was great, too. Everything about these drivers have been amazing for me! These look to be my old XP 94.20/97.92 drivers -- excellent IQ, high framerates, AND smoothness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ------------------------------------ Update 4: I had never played Splinter Cell: Double Agent before, and my buddy dug it out for me (it's mine now, LOL). I was able to play that 1-year-old game a little bit at 1920x1200 with MAX settings and it is 100% smooth and stutter-free.

This, by far, is the best driver that's running on my computer right now Tony!
but, there is still the occasional lagging. Got 1,750 on 3dmark06 today. So, not too bad. |

I don't see why not, if it's Windows Vista, it'll work. The PCI-ID's should be the same, regardless.
