m9750 Vs Dell m1730...Dell users unhappy
We all like to read about the latest gear, and its only natural to compare our beloved m9750 to Dell's latest beast the m1730. In my opinion, no review is as good as reading the opinions of the users that shell out their hard earned cash to buy one of these machines. That is how I came to own an m9700 over a year ago.
I found a thread that is pretty interesting. It is a thread dedicated to Dell users that purchased m1730's. The thread started 9/27/07 and documents users lining up to order the machine when it was announced. It totals over 150 pages (yikes) over the last six weeks. Something funny happens about half way through...people receive their machines and aren't impressed at all with the performance of the box. Then (yikes) a bunch of users returned them. This one makes for interesting reading: Enjoy! ![]() |
