Exclamation Downgrade Vista XP - Satellite A215-S7422

Has anyone menaged in this?
I can't find those drivers! Tried the drivers found at ATI, Realtek and everything else, but not a single one has worked...
Well... That's not true... The Vista driver for the sound card has worked just fine with Windows XP SP2... But anyway, just this one!
Is there any 3rd party driver I could use? Or there is some profane voodoo I need to perfom to put this bloody thing to rights ? I haven't even used it yet... Bought just this weekend

If someone out there pleeeeeeeeeeeease help me, I'd be amazingly grateful

That's what I did. With the information (and links) on the other threads I've installed the video and sound cards as well as some other stuff. BUT, I couldn't find information neither about the ethernet controller nor the Realtek Wifi... The only driver that at least pretend to work, freezes the machine

Using the Everest Home Edition, I've got a report. These are the Ethernet and WLan drivers I should get:

Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter

But why I can't get them to work? That's all I need to have this machine complete

Can someone out there help me?

I gave up and went back to Vista. If you turn off most of the Vista eye candy, performance is acceptable.

I've finally got it right with Win XP... Everything but the Fn Key is working just fine... I'm going to upload the drivers I've used and post here... It's gonna take a while, but I'll do it ^^

hi, your input with the list of correct drivers will be very helpful for all, if you can upload them it would be great but if this takes a lot of time maybe it is better to post the links with the correct setup, because we all will appreciate it as well.

I'm so crazy with this laptop and I want to run the XP .... help me please

This thread is on the peer to peer side. The A210 and A215 should be the same. One is Cdn and one is US

Here it goes... The SM Bus driver and the Ethernet I've got from the A215-S7427... The other post has a tutorial to instal the video card.
The Wireless driver I can send to any of you by e-mail, cos I have no idea where I've found them =/

As you know, the sound driver is the same for both Vista and XP. All the other drivers you can find inside the recovery disk 1 that came with the notebook.

Cheers =P

Hello guys, I'm happy to hear that you have done it. At least i have hope that I can do it as well.

I have the TOSHIBA A215-S7422 and I want to have something clear in my mind.

XP drivers for the S7427 works the same for TOSHIBA A215-S7422 ? SO I just need to take the S7427 setup ?

Thanks

i have spent all night working on this same issue for a client, I have found ALL drivers but the network driver. Once I go to work in the morning i will post a link to the drivers collection i have made. Hint, you can get the wireless driver by going to http://support.microsoft.com and doing a custom update. I will show up as a hardware download..

any time i do a clean install the first place i look for drivers is microsoft.
