Dell XPS (9300) + iPhone 8GB + Treo 650 for better XPS, FS/FT LE1600 Tablet PC
Hello everyone.
I'm putting up the following for trade a package deal: Dell 9300 (converted to XPS, flashed bios, the works) + Extras iPhone - Original firmware, hardly used, perfect condition + case Unlocked/Unbranded Treo 650 Good Condition + Extras (Exempt from trade deal) Motion Computing LE1600 + Extras I'm looking for a more powerful XPS (Say XPS M1710 or higher), and I'm open to many offers. First: Dell XPS (from 9300) This guy is heavily used, needs a little help, but it IS still powerful. - 2.13 GHz Centrino Processor - 2GB RAM - 120GB Hard drive - 17" WXGA+ LCD - nVidia GeForce 7800GTX - DVDRW CDRW Disk Drive Runs great! Handles BF2/BF2142 on their highest settings without a problem Also comes with: - AC Adapter - BRAND NEW BATTERY - Older battery, holds about a 45min charge without power saving settings - Official Dell Operating System Disk, RARE, Windows XP Media Center Edition, 2005 - Official Dell System Software Disk (contains drivers and stuff) - LaptopToGo Driver Disk - USB Audio Input/Output Device Okay, here are the issues: - Has one super light blue line going down the center of the LCD. This is new, and only appears on backgrounds that aren't white - Has a screen that's a little wobbly (somewhat standard on used dell laptops of this size) - Audio output jack not working. Somehow, all of the connectors on the inside of the device got bent. However, they got bent in such a way that the computer thinks that there are headphones in, and thus the built in speakers won’t work. USB device included for temporary sound input/output - Also missing cover to DVDRW CDRW slot loading drive. It’s no big deal, and is ONLY a cosmetic issue To fix these issues: - Buy a entire new LCD unit on ebay for $199.99 + $18 shipping. This will fix the wobbly screen and of course, the line on the LCD - Crack open the case, fix the pins in the audio jack, laptop works as good as new (instructions on the Dell website) This laptop has actually been treated very, very well and has sat on a desk for the majority of its life. However, I've had this laptop for about a year and a half so these are issues of age. There's a Dell recall on the 9300 screens with that thin line defect. Dell will replace the LCD screen for free even if your warranty is expired, they might even send you a new display in exchange for the old one and let you install it. There's a thread about this in the Dell 17" forum.
