It may or may not show, but this is my first post in this forum (I'm guessing it will )

I am about to buy a laptop, but I have to start from scratch on my knowledge with notebooks. Up to this point I have used desktops extensively, and so I am familiar with jargon etc, to an extent. The uses of the laptop would include some basic gaming (I would like to be able to play almost anything, but I don't mind if I have to do it on a lower quality if it saves me $2,000 haha. All the obvious word processing, internet browsing etc, I like music and video, and I often have a few basic processes running, and I don't want the computer to choke.

Basically, I went for a shop yesterday, did as much hunting around as I could cope with in one day, and narrowed down my decision to one computer. This is the Toshiba A200/S01.

Does anyone know anything about this laptop? Is it a good choice? Am I being too narrow minded? Will my selection suit my needs? Also, there is the option to upgrade to 4GB of RAM, rather than the standard 2GB. Is that worth it at all? Or am I not likely to ever even get a chance to use that extra memory due to the other restrictions of the system? Any constructive comments would be hugely appreciated, and if this notebook isn't worth my time, maybe some suggestions as to what notebooks are?

if its 2k or lower, then get an Asus G1 (15 inch widescreen)

they sell it at best buy

if you need a 17 inch then id say go for the G2
