noticed a touchpad quirk 1530

if i click a link and do the right and left together it opens into a new window.

not sure if its only on dells but its pretty neat i guess

Yes, (if you lead slightly with right) and you could configure a 'corner tap' for "Middle Click" and do the same (or one of the four buttons on a Latitude).

Also, if your using an external mouse that has a scroll wheel. If you click on a link with the scroll wheel button, it also opens in a new tab (or window if you are still using IE.v6)
