I picked up a used 9750 last year to which I am happy with it's performance up to this point. I started having video issues and have come to the point of having to get a replacement card, which currently is a 7800 gtx. I contacted Sager a number of times and finally got an answer, though not the one I was looking for; they can sell me a replacement card, but it's a 6800 >_<. So obviously I'd rather not downgrade, but I would like to get the machine up and running before school gets hectic.

My question then is, would anyone know of any place that would have either an upgrade or at least a same level replacement that would be available or something of that magnitude? I am under the impression that this MB is MXM, so I was hoping that finding something wouldn't be too much of a difficulty. The MB is for a D900K.

sure, just look for someone who's had their sager/alienware for a year or more. since that means their laptop is probably broken, they are usually selling the parts. Another place to get one is Ebay, though they tend to sell for a lot of money.

Sorry to bring the crappy news. Hope it did help some though. Oh, if your new Video Card comes with a heatsink, let me now because I need to replace mine. (btw - My Sager is 2 years old so I'll let you know when it breaks the rest of the way)
