Some native mobile drivers would be nice. For whatever reason, I have issues with some of the desktop drivers.

Just as a heads up, 174.31 is shaping up to be a pretty good driver (my initial impressions of it weren't good, but that was my own dumb fault). I'm currently preparing to release a MobileForce Beta version of it to our testers, and just as a little sneak peak, there are new controls for PowerMizer in the NVIDIA Control Panel, and performance is definitely solid.

As for the overclocking thing, those of us that flashed to the modded/unlocked BIOS will have to flash back to the STOCK BIOS in order for overclocking to work with the drivers beyond 169.04. I have officially confirmed this myself, doing testing with both 169.09 and 174.31. Software overclocking works exactly as you would expect it to with the stock BIOS.

Why this is, I have no idea, but my guess is that NVIDIA changed the way it accesses the video BIOS, which subsequently nullified all of the work JuanLu did to get the unlocked BIOS'es. Well, at least the problem is solved, and we can overclock again.

The mobileforce is for laptops and forceware for desktops and have been tweaked to support a better variety of cards than the Nvidia drivers but i expect you knew that.

It was a stupid question. I have dozens of past forceware drivers on my PC but for some reason I thought they were both for notebooks.

Another heads up... 175.16 has basically passed Beta Testing, and I'm now on the final phase of testing. I may get this driver out earlier than planned (which was Sunday, 5-18) and just get it out today.

after installing the public release for the first time of the tweaked 175.16:

1) i like the installer and the way you can choose between installing a tweaked or non tweaked, i thought that was cool

2) after installation, i think it would be better to include an option in the start menu to remove installation files for those that do not like to have "un neseccary" files on comp.

in all in all its all good.

That's what the Uninstall is for in the Start Menu programs group the installer does.

Maybe I should rename the "Uninstall" icon to something more specific, such as "Uninstall NBF MobileForce Installation Files". I just like keeping things neat, and the way it's named now, with just "Uninstall" does that.

ahhh k

when i pressed it it say do you want to remove all traces of the driver from your system : yes/no

i didnt want to press yes incase it removed the driver as well! - too lazy to reinstall :P

but i admit it does look neat with just "uninstall", could put it in the readme about that unistall means u can delete installation files without removing the driver from system.
