Need Help SPID/F Question Sager 9880

I bought these items from monoprice.com

http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

Hooked them up with one end of the cable to my SONY receiver. I'm not getting any sound. I've checked the RealTek Sound Manager and SPID/F is enabled but on the windows volume manager the SPIDF slider and balance are greyed out.

Any help is appreciated.
