Lockheed is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
F3M won't boot up with Broadcom WiFi card. Sthg else, too.

Problem no 1:
Originally my Asus F3M came with Ahtoeros miniPCI express card.
I decided to swap it with my Compaq's Broadcom but once I put Broadcom into Asus, it plays dead. Power light goes on but nothing else.
Won't even start HDD spinning.

Once I remove Broadcom or put back Atheros, Laptop starts normally.

What is happening???

Problem no 2:
WiFi in F3M (Atheros) worked yesterday in Windows but now although it is detected and listed without problems in the Device Manager, it cannot detect any network (there are 8). Laptop starts with the wifi light off. The manual switch at the front does not make the light go on or off but Fn+F2 does. However, still can't detect any networks.
In linux everything works fine.
