possible video card issue...

i apologize if this is the wrong forum.

i just bought a sager D870P. After the machine has been running for about an hour or so the screen, for lack of a better term, freaks out!

It depends on the program as to what the screen does... for example i was watching Tranformers and it started being very blocky. it got to the point where you could not see anything.

today i tried to play a game and the screen turned a greenish color and was just very distorted...

i have searched the forums and i am not able to locate a thread that gives me some insight here.... if you have any advice or knowledge of this issue please reply. tia!

It probably is a video chip issue which could only be fixed with a motherboard replacement. You should keep the fans and the heat sink free of dust and allow for ventilation of the fan areas to lessen the artifacting.
