Disassembling NP4780?
Hello all,
I have a 4780 which is no longer in warranty. I have had to send it in twice for a new back light. It has been working great for the past 2 years until this week. I press the power button and it freezes on SYSTEM BIOS SHADOWED. I cannot access BIOS either. I was wanting to take the motherboard out to examine it and possibly replace it. I have taken all screws out except for 2 which appear to be underneath the monitor hinge. How do I take the monitor off to take the case apart? I can't figure it out. I really don't want to send it in the mail especially since I'm in school for computers and have built my own computers before. Has anyone ever successfully disassembled a Sager? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. |
