Are there any other notebooks yet screens comparable yet to the Sony XBRITE screen (TR or GRT series) or the Fujitsu N5000 ?
How do the screen brightness, contrast and viewing angle compare ? I see so many people asking this, and yet there still don't seem to be any websites focusing in on rating LCD screens on notebooks. |

HP's new 17" wsxga+ BrightView WVA screen. It is just as bright as the Sony and has exceptional viewing angles. Here is an angle pic of mine:
Wide Angle I haven't seen the Fujitsu so I cannot comment on how it compares to that. |

Just got back from Best Buy. I took another look at the Sony Xbrite. Without a doubt the new HP is brighter and much sharper, although the sharpness probably has more to do with the higher resolution.
