Game is completely unplayable at this point due to the amount of times it crashes, corrupts saves, and the patchs do not work with your old save file. I LOVE both S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games but don't even bother until the developers pull there heads out of there asses on this one.

Yeah that is what I feel like right now Steve. I tried all day but couldn't get more the 10 minutes in without it CTD. And 10 minutes was when it was going good.

I still can't load the original on my desktop, refuses to start. Runs okay in laptop, but wanted to use the GPUs to effect

Well I'm holding off on this for a few more months until I upgrade my PC. Who knows when that'll be.

Played around in the swamp for an hour or so last night and didn't have any issues with it.

Or do the issues appear a bit later on?

Gerry patch it now because everything you are doing is going to be lost when you do apply the patch. And yes the problems appear after you leave the swamp.

I will say this I sent an email to the PR dude and he email me back later that day apologizing for all the problems I was having and forwarded everything over to the tech team. This is good customer service which makes me happy to support them with my money even if I have to wait a little longer to get the game working.

Apparently a patch is coming tomorrow?

YEAH!!!!! All my saved games are borked. I get start over AGAIN oh wait it CTD everytime. Why baby why do you have to hurt me so?

They responed pretty fast to my trouble ticket. (one day) Didn't fix the problem though something about the game calling for objects that are no longer there.
