Opinions on Fujitsu Lifebook S6000 series?

Anyone?

If any of you fellas have read the dell forums, you'll realize that I basically use my laptop solely for work and the 8600 was overkill for that purpose. That said, I've been looking into thin-lites and this one seemed to pique my curiosity. Tia.

Fujitsu S series is decent but
tecra m2 you get more for your money and better quality.
Fujitsu: integrated graphics (shiatty)
Tecra M2: 64mb geforcego 5200 (not bad)

Tecra m2 is a thin and light business portable and awesome. I know because I own one.

IBM has best quality but outrageous prices.

Sony is crap. i bought a vo5 series before the toshiba tecra.
Descent performance but nothing great. Real killer is there stupid propietary software. Couldnt upgrade winxp/home to pro unless I bought the pro version from them.(called sony tech support and they told me this)

Sony I hope you go out of business!!!

My bro-in-law has the Sony v505 and it's not bad. Looks nice but I don't like the feel of the plastic...kinda of cheap (ala 8600).

I was actually looking at an M2 but it's a tick bigger than I was considering. That's more or less in the 600M class notebooks right?

Take a look at the forums over at www.leog.net

It is mainly a Fujitsu enthusiast place and right now the big news is the new version of the P5000, called the P7000. You will also find people discussing the S series, and in case you didnt know.. the new version of the S, the S7000 was released.
