Photoshop compatibility with an ML3109

Hi everyone. This is my very first post. I recently got a laptop, didn't spend a lot...wanted something basic just to do lesson plans on and then on the side, edit photos. I realize that it does not have the requirements for Photoshop CS or even the current Elements 6. I am looking at Elements 5. Does anyone have that on their ML3109? Is it taking up all the hard drive space on your computer? A friend added some more space for me bringing my 512 MB to just under 1 gig. Any advice on adding photoshop (any version) wiould be much appreciated!

would u be knid enough to state the requirements of photoshop and ur specs in post, so forum users/reader do not have to go net-hopping to understand (their findings) of the requirement?

cheers ...
