Hey guys, I know I've been rather vaporous, and for our Beta Testers, haven't delivered the drivers I was planning to deliver, and there is reason for it.

The biggest reason would be that I got very sick in early August with a very nasty sinus infection, which took me out of action from school and work for almost 2 weeks. This lovely sinus infection lasted almost a month, then when I thought I was getting better, it came back and also started moving into my chest, giving me bronchitis. Lovely, isn't it? I'm almost back to full health again finally, and once I can get caught up on bills and schoolwork, I plan to make a full comeback here with some drivers, and everything you would usually expect from me.

Anyways, to give this a timeframe, I'm looking at a couple more weeks of total focus on school and work to get things back to some normality. After that, I'll start taking a look at what drivers are out there, and get some updates out to you guys, as I have really no idea what's going on in the driver world right now, because I haven't been able to keep up with it.

Anyways, I apologize for my vaporous non-existence, but I hope to be coming back strong here soon.

OK guys, time for (yet another) update:

I've been watching drivers now that I'm caught up with everything (took me well long enough, didn't it?). The problem has been, from what I've seen, most drivers are basically 1, or 2-hit wonders (meaning optimizations for a couple of things at most) and while that's all fine and dandy, it's not what I'm about.

My goal at this point is to look at the first (stable) official 18x.xx driver from NVIDIA, and see where that goes. With any luck, that'll be sooner rather than later.

I also want, and NEED the support from the users of the MobileForce drivers to give feedback on new drivers that pop up (yes, this means you!). If a new driver pops up, try it out. If it's working well for you, share your experiences. See if I, or anyone else, shares similar experiences. The more feedback I get, the better I can make the drivers. As of late (with the last few releases) there hasn't been TOO much feedback (some, but you guys can give me ALOT more) and the optimizations and tweaks, and other special stuff I do to the drivers will just get stale.

In essence, help me to help YOU!

Well, now that the official WHQL 180.48's are out, I say we need to use THOSE!

I've been using the Dox-modified 180.44's from LaptopVideo2Go, and they are VERY good drivers. Before that I used the stock 180.43's, which sucked in every way possible. I can only imagine the non-beta finals (180.48's) will kick ass and take names.

Let's get crackin' on them!
