Packard Bell F3281 HR

Good afternoon all,

I am totally confused by my research into a replacement battery for this lappy.

The original battery is 11.1volts. (I hope thats right!!!), have mislaid original user manual.

When looking around on net for a new one a lot of sellers show 14.8 batteries as the type I need, (I have to admit not all of them do)

Packard Bell site indicates 11.1volts is the correct bat.

Are they safely interchangeable or not?

I have already received a 14.8 volt battery from one supplier so am not sure whether to return it or use it.

I would be really pleased if someone knows the answer

Thanks qhn

I am assuming from your answer that a 14.8volt battery is NOT suitable and the suppliers who suggest it is are in error.

Thank you again.
