HELP! - Sager NP2090 Problem!

Please help!

I have a problem that has been bugging me for almost a year now and I am finally getting fed up with it. I have looked for answers before on other notebook forums and none have been able to help me yet.

My laptop is a Sager NP2090.
Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00 GHz
2.00 GB of RAM (I have run memtest and there were no problems)
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
Realtek HD Audio

Here's my problem:

While playing World of Warcraft, my laptop will randomly shut down, or the screen will freeze comepletely and I will have to shut it down manually, or the screen will freeze for 5 seconds and then the laptop will restart. It is always one of these three scenarios. This usually happens about 15 minutes after starting up World of Warcraft. After I boot it up, it usually will not crash again, and if it does it will be after a very long time.

I have had this problem since I installed World of Warcaft and only while playing WoW. Other games like Counter-Strike: Source, CoD 4, and Fallout 3 have not caused this problem. Now that I think of it though, I believe I had this problem with Doom 3 as well. I played Doom 3 prior to playing WoW.

I bought a laptop cooler (advice from another forum) and this has not fixed it.

I also reinstalled/updated my audio drivers (this was a common problem with the NP2090). This did not fix it.

If theres any information I am missing let me know and i'll be happy to try to find it for you.

Thanks,
Triggz

Woody87 has a few people on his/her side.
What else have you tried?

Have you updated the graphics drivers? Have you tried a new install of Windows? You will have to do both to rule rule out software problems.

WOW or Doom3 is not a very stressful game compared to the others you're not having problems with which makes me think it's not necessarily a hardware problem.

Have you tried some synthetic benchmarks like 3DMark06 to stress your graphics card and see if it follows? Also try stressing your CPU cores with something like Prime95 to see if it crashes.

When is the last time you cleaned the dust out of the laptop? It could be simply heat buildup.

I'm back again, and still have the same problem.

I have updated my graphics drivers, but not windows.

I ran 3DMark06, and I got a score of 3093 3Dmarks, 1305 SM 2.0 Score, 1101 SM 3.0 Score, and a 1476 CPU score.

I am running Prime95 now to see if my comp crashes.

My problem seems to be occurring a lot more often now.
