Dell Studio 17 is a video card upgrade possible?

Wanted to know if you can upgrade the Studio 17 Laptop to the optional video card (ATI mobility 3650) that Dell shows on there web site? I have the stock one that is built into the motherboard. An Intel 4500MHD to be more specific.

Typically the integrated GPU motherboards do not support the add on GPUS, you most likely would have to replace the motherboard.

But no one has confirmed this on this model yet that I know of, but historically it always has been this way.

I got my 1735 from the outlet store, it came with the HD3650, which is held onto the mobo by some epoxy, saw it with my own eyes.
So far the chances for upgrading the GPU seem slim to none... which sucks!

GPU is affixed quite permanently to the system board. Only way to upgrade is to purchase the new motherboard AND the dedicated graphics heatsink.
