Too bad there is no upgrade for the ATI 4870s

No 4870 GPU killed it for me.

Steve, your review is well done and you show that good performance can be had for a fair price. I just spec'd one out though and I'm over 4k. You can get what you need, but not what you want...still.

This is true. Before I make a final decision I try and stuff as much stuff in a notebook as possible before filtering out the necessities and desires.
