Well I found that the price to buy a after market FX3700 GPU and the Blu Ray drive was going to cost me about $ 1700.00 including taxes.

So I ordered a new M6400 with everything I want which came to $ 3900.00 before taxes with a 15% discount.

Specs almost the same as my old one except
FX3700 GPU
Blu Ray Drive
Finger Print Reader
3 Yr Complete Care

I already have Dual 320 Gb HD and 8 Gb of Ram on the way.

Nice review - very nice laptop.

I just ordered this monster, but was wondering about the sharp corners on the system were any problem, and also, is there any flex in the palm-rests?

I was going to buy the HP 8730w, but this seems more powerful.

How do you like/find the RGB LED LCD?

You had no issues upgrading the CPU from C2D to C2Q? Mobo accepts it no problem?

I love the RGB LED display, it's definitley a better brighter display.

Upgrading the CPU is not a problem, just haveto be comfortable opening up the laptop.

Have you been able to source one of these with the RGB display without having to upgrade it yourself? 8GB of ram, wow, what did that cost?

The RGB displays are available as part of the Configuration options from Dell, My Second M6400 was ordered with that option which priced about $ 400.00 more.

I bought the 8 GB of memory from Ebay for about $ 120.00 USD, as compared to about 800.00 from Dell.

I would never order anything but the basic Memory and Hard Drive config from Dell as they charge way too much for those options.
