matti is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
Apologies for the delayed feedback, it has been a busy few months with studies and work, but here is what I think of my X200s.

The X200s outlook is nice with a good sense of build quality. Hopefully, this should be enough to take a few bumps here and there without any problems. It's simple business professional outlook is just right, nothing too fancy to attract. The performance out of the box is pretty good considering that it loads a staggering 90+ processes which to me takes forever. At least slower than my old laptop running XP. Not actually sure why there are so many processes on the X200s, but my work laptop only has a near 70 processes and seems to run faster on an older CPU with Vista business.

Anyway, the X200s performance is pretty good once everything has loaded and I guess that's because everything has loaded into cache. In order to achieve better performance I've opted for the high performance profile while at home in order to enjoy the extra CPU power. However, I do run in the balance profile occasionally while wondering around in the house. Performance is still good as I'm only using it for general office apps and web browsing.

Overall, the laptop is very light for a 12.1" full keyboard layout which is excellent for typing especially doing my coursework. I haven't really experianced any keyboard issues previously mentioned in other forum questions. Thus, they may have fixed such issues with their recent new releases or at least my X200s. I believe my next step is to try and work out what the other 20 processes are and try removing them to help improve the computer performance.

Thanks for the support. I will try updating any feedback as soon as possible.

Cheers
Matti
